BRUNCH WITH AERE | KENSINGTON PALACE

"Ladies who brunch"

This valentines day I was invited to brunch with my lovely friend and designer Sabrina (@rnadiasabrina). You may have read my blog post about @Aere and KL Fashion Week - if not; read it here to learn more about the brand.

Among the guests were founder of @FashionValet - @vivyyusof, blogger @zaraazix, beauty @queenofsaba, cutie @misslittlefancy@pinkdurian who I met for the first time, blogger @hijabi_in_london, @syahirazakaria, @khominjee@iman_azman who I first met at KL fashion week. Such a lovely bunch of people.

We were invited to Kensington palace, although I've lived in the south of England all my life I've only ever been here once before so it was a real treat to get to have the opportunity to visit again with such glamorous company.

I opened for the delicious eggs Benedict with salmon - always my brunch time favourite. My favourite place to enjoy this is usually at Laduree but I have to admit that the palaces version has outdone that.

I hadn't seen Sabrina since last summer and didn't catch her due to clashing schedules in Malaysia, so it's always a real treat to catch up when our schedules aren't clashing. Here's a short Blog of what went down when we brunched.

As usual Sabrina was rocking @Aere's new collection beautifully. As soon as I got on the train home I began browsing the collection online for myself.

Sabrina wears:

1 Ozella wrap top in white
 - one of my favourite pieces.
2 Bellis midi skirtin yellow stripes - gorgeous bold stripes.

Here are my favourite tops of the new collection:

1 Melba Bell sleeves top in sage purple would look amazing worn with a crisp white shirt underneath with some tailored trousers or jeans.

2 Kira Flowy dress with sash in white I LOVE this for its simplicity and the clean lines. This would look so chic paired with a chiffon white hijab and some lace up sandals.

3 Ozella wrap top in navy blue I'm so excited about this top, it’s so current and bang on trend. I would probably wear this with a pin stripe shirt underneath - because I'm so hyped with layering.

My favourite bottoms from the collection are:

1 Lynn Box pleated skirt in dusty blush I think this skirt is perfect for formal events worn with a fitted blouse otherwise it would still look very chic worn with a shirt tied at the front. Such a flattering cut.

2 Issoria draped skirt in silver This skirt reminds me so much of the time I spent in Malaysia last year.

3 Eris box pleated flare pants in dusty green these would look so Parisian paired with a black and white striped top and fedora or beret.

I've placed an order for a few of these pieces so do keep a look out in the next few posts to see how I've styled them and which looks I went for.
